Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from the UK, America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.
We accept Visa, Laser and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the product is the correct size that is required. See returns policy.
Our aim is to please our customers and as part of this we offer from time to time special offers on selected products or site wide. For site wide special offers, items that are excluded from the discount are ALL types of pet foods. This is because we have small profit margins for food to keep costs down for you. To compensate, from time to time we have special offers on food that our manufacturers give to us. These are normally shown in the special offers section. If you would like to be kept informed of food specials, please ask us for details.
From time to time we have a Free Shipping special for Orders over 50.00 in Ireland, 100 in UK, 150 in Europe. This excludes items marked heavy. Please read Shipping and Handling Section.
Shipping And Handling
NOTE: For Large Items such as Cages and Aquariums you can opt to pick up these from our Head Office in Wicklow rather than paying for delivery costs. After making an order, send an email to email@example.com and we will deduct the delivery costs from your invoice.
From time to time we have a Free Shipping offer. This excludes items marked heavy.
In the case of items marked heavy, you will be notified after you placed the order of the shipping charge if any. Shipping prices for heavy items are charged at the following prices :
Large Heavy Items inside Wicklow, Dublin City, Louth, Kildare - 15.00
Large Heavy Items outside Wicklow, Dublin City, Louth, Kildare - 50.00
Heavy Items include XL dog kennels, aquariums, dog runs as well as other items marked heavy
We will normally dispatch your order to you in 1-4 business days when items are in stock. However, we cannot control the post so please allow extra time for their job (worst case scenario estimated at14 days).
International orders are generally received in under 7 - 21 days, but please allow up to 36 days for delivery.
(When PART order is dispatched - which is only by customers approval, it is usually after 10-20 working days of waiting for outstanding items, the balance will be backordered & sent later.) Generally you will receive your order much earlier than this.
As most of our orders go out by courier, it is essential that you give us an address that someone is at home so that the parcel can be signed for. An attempt will be made twice to deliver the parcel and if you are not there, a callling card will be left. If you do not sign for the parcel after the second attempted delivery, the parcel will be returned to us. If this happens, we will charge you a re-send delivery fee to send the parcel out again and the parcel will not be sent until this fee is paid. It is YOUR responsibility to make sure someone is there to receive the parcel. Re-send delivery fees are as follows :
Ireland : 6.50
UK : 13.00
Europe : 17.00
Rest of World : Varies on Repostage costs.
These may appear to be more expensive than initial delivery charges, but that is because we subsidise part of the initial delivery costs.
We cannot take responsibility for any of the postal service problems, our postal receipt is proof of delivery
If you require faster delivery please contact head office by phone or e.mail, we will endeavour to meet your needs. This may incur a further delivery charge or courier charge & must be pre-paid.
If your item is not in stock, we will Automatically back order it for you. If we know it will be a long time then we will e-mail you. You always have the option to cancel if you prefer not to wait.
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 23% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any web site. We use Paypal which is 100% secure and is used all over the world by websites such as ebay. We also use Realex which is governed by AIB Bank Ireland and is also 100% secure. We cannot even see your credit card details as they are processed by secure institutions.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
Should any product purchased from us be found to be faulty, or differing from the description given on our website then we will be pleased to arrange to either refund or replace the product at the discretion of the customer.
Customers are entitled to a cooling off period of 7 days after purchasing any products from us (this begins on the day you receive your product(s)). Within this time, you can cancel your order without giving any reason and without incurring any charges or penalties. The only charges that you will have to pay is the shipping fee for returning the products back to us (we do not pay this). Products must return to us in perfect resaleable condition and must be unused (unless you have informed us that the products were damaged in transit or faulty).
Monies will be reimbursed within 30 days.
The following are excluded from the cooling off period :
- Any products that have been specially made to customer specifications
- Pet Magazines
- Specially ordered products that we do not stock
After this period, purchases will be charged a 10% restocking fee if returned for reasons other than being damaged or not being sold for what they are meant to do.
Sizing errors :
In the case of sizing errors you will have to pay the return cost & a further carriage charge for replacing the product.
In cases where the customer is either unable or unwilling to arrange return carriage after mistakenly purchasing a product, Pet-Bliss reserves the right to charge an uplift fee to cover the cost of employing a courier company to collect the item from the customer.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

All dog toys are for gentle play only and should not be given to destructive dogs. Dogs should be supervised when playing with toys and should be replaced when torn/chewed.
Dog Toys made by the Kong Company are NOT indestructible
Dog Beds WILL go flat if you have a large dog on them (same happens to our duvets)
