RED MILLS Racer is a high performance feed designed to meet the needs of pups, saplings, stud dogs, brood bitches and racing dogs in training.

Rates of Feeding:
RACE DOGS:
RED MILLS RACER PLUS is a complete racing diet and requires only the addition of water. Feed 16gms of RED MILLS RACER PLUS per kg of bodyweight (0.25 per lb. bodyweight). For example a 32kg (70lb) dog requires 512gms (17.5oz) per day. If you decide to use meat, use the leanest meat available. Reduce feed level by one third for every pound of meat or fish.

BROOD BITCHES:
Feed levels as calculated for race dogs above the first 5 weeks of pregnancy. Increase by 50% for the last 4 weeks of pregnancy. Feed twice the race dog level or ad lib whilst the bitch is lactating.

PUPS:
When pups eyes first open, i.e. approximately 2-3 weeks of age, RED MILLS RACER PLUS soaked in warm water and mashed to the consistency of porridge can be fed. Allow pups as much feed as they will eat. At approximately 7-8 weeks of age, pups will eat dry RED MILLS RACER PLUS and should be allowed free access ad lib to RED MILLS RACER PLUS and plenty of fresh water.

SAPLINGS:
At about 10 months of age, saplings should have their intake of RED MILLS RACER PLUS controlled. As a guideline use a 50/50 combination of RED MILLS RACER PLUS and RED MILLS TRACKER during this period
