Dog blankets come in great for anything. You can place in dog's beds for extra warmth or to save washing the beds (you only have to wash the blanket then). Place on sofa's to protect the sofa from dirt from muddy paws.
Place on car seats to stop hair and dirt getting onto your car seat covers. Or you can have a dog blanket yourself to wrap around you when you are watching tv.
